Onboarding

When you sign up for Horizon, you go through a short onboarding flow.

Steps

1. Get your API key

You'll receive an API key. Copy it and store it securely—it's shown only once. Use it when configuring your agents or the SDK.

2. Your agents use Faramesh

From now on, actions from your agents must go through Faramesh. Configure your agent or SDK with the API key and Horizon URL.

3. Your first policy

By default, no rule matches so the first action may be denied. Add at least one policy rule that allows or requires approval for your tool/operation (e.g. in Policies in the dashboard). See Policy overview and Quickstart for a minimal rule.

4. Submit your first action

Send a test action from your agent or the dashboard. This shows that the flow works.

5. Approve or deny

Open Approvals and approve or deny the pending action.

6. Done

You're set up. Use the dashboard for policies, approvals, integrations, and more.

Skipping onboarding

If you're already familiar with Faramesh, org admins can skip onboarding from Settings.
