Terms of use.

What this is
These are the terms for using the Faramesh marketing site at faramesh.dev. They cover what this site is, what you can do with the content here, and what we’re not promising.
This site describes the Faramesh product. The product itself (the open-source code, the registry, the eventual cloud service) is governed by separate licenses and terms covered below.
The site content
The text, code samples, diagrams, and other content on this site belong to the Faramesh team unless otherwise marked. You can:
- Read and share links to any page
- Quote short passages with attribution
- Reference what’s here in your own writing or talks
You can’t:
- Republish the full content of pages as your own
- Use our name, logo, or trademarks to imply endorsement
- Scrape the site to train models without our written permission
If you want to use something here in a way that doesn’t fit the above, email founders@faramesh.dev and ask.
The Faramesh code
The Faramesh codebase lives at github.com/faramesh. It’s open source under the license in the repository’s LICENSE file. The license governs what you can do with the code itself, including using it in your own projects, modifying it, and distributing it.
This terms page does not override the code’s license. If anything here conflicts with the LICENSE file in a Faramesh repository, the LICENSE file wins for that code.
Faramesh Cloud (when it launches)
Faramesh Cloud, our hosted service, is not yet available. When it launches, it will have its own terms of service governing the cloud product. Those terms will be separate from this page.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer of cloud service today.
Third-party links
This site links to GitHub, Slack, docs.faramesh.dev, and other places. Those platforms have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We’re not responsible for what happens on third-party services. Following a link off our site means you’re accepting the destination’s terms.
No warranties
This site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we can’t guarantee that every page is current, that every link works, or that the code samples are bug-free.
Don’t rely on anything you read here as legal, financial, or technical advice for your own production systems. If you’re going to deploy Faramesh in production, read the docs at docs.faramesh.dev and test in your own environment first.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Faramesh team is not liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) that come from using this site or relying on what’s on it.
If you’re a business or organization using this site, you agree that this limitation is reasonable given that we’re providing the content for free.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
When these terms change
If we change these terms, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the site after a change, you agree to the new terms.
